Spanish Adventures
On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me a trip down to sunny Spain for a holiday filled with sombreros and tapas. We started out holiday in Malaga, where it’s still sunny despite being a bit too cold for hitting the beach, and on the second day of Christmas, my true love took me on a car hire to Alicante, where we visited the beautiful castle and strolled along the port.

When we think of Christmas Markets one place in particular springs to mind; Germany, and that is because the tradition that sees tourist flock to the German cities originated in the Late Middle Ages in the German speaking parts of Europe. During the four weeks of Advent, streets are turned into Christmas Market wonderlands with hand crafted trinkets and locally produced food and drink; all designed to keep you warm through the Christmas period.
