Warming Up!
At the start of this crazy, blistering hot Indian Summer I’m all set: my mind is so sane and my body is so… otherwise, that I’m going to fight for my fitness in a race through the city, with the major landmarks as goals. But it’s going down Richard-style, as I’m not one to endure pain without rewards to keep me focused.
First rule of my marathon: I’m allowed to cheat whenever I want to. The ends may justify my means, because it’s an ever so special predicament I’ll be throwing myself at when I start this crazy running around course through some of the most emblematic places in London.

Emblematic, as in… Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament
I know we usually tend to try and make it easier on you, by saying which places are worthy of visiting by car hire in the UK or everywhere else around the globe, but this is no tale of comfort and air conditioning around London. This will be all about dedication, sweat and blisters on my precious little (size 9) feet.
Congratulations to Sebastian Vettel on winning the 2010 F1! It was a double whammy for Red Bull this year, with them winning the constructors crown in Brazil last week.
What a final to watch ! From the first flag the excitement was non-stop. Alonso and Webber had issues with their tyres, leaving them following the track marks of Vettel. Hamilton tried his best to push Vittel but on lap 23 got stuck behind Kubica, who secured fifth place and did the most overtaking in the race with his Renault team mate Petrov also securing a well-deserved sixth place!
Wow what a race! Jenson Button was hit the hardest on the Brazilian track, losing his place out of the top three for next week’s race and escaping an armed attack on his car as he left the Interlagos circuit with his father!
With the track free from the harsh rains of late, Sebastian Vettel took the win, and helped fellow Red Bull team mate Mark Webber across the line. Third place went to Fernando Alonso, who is confident that he will blast the next stage of the race at Abu Dhabi. Lewis Hamilton made a fatal error whilst making overtaking that puts his chance of winning the Drivers World Championship too far out of reach!
Well, this weeks race at the newly inaugurated track in Korea was certainly one to remember! Only given the green light a week prior to the race, the rain made sure that the track was one of the most difficult of the season.
With Red Bull once again in pole and 2nd on the grid, it looked like they were sure to get enough points to secure the constructers title and be a few steps nearer to the drivers title. Hmmm…. maybe not!
The rain meant that the race started late and the safety car was out for an incredible 17 laps. It was early on that it started to go wrong for Red Bull. Mark Webber lost grip on lap 19 and spun into a wall taking Nico Rosberg out with him. So, after just one lap of racing the safety car was out again for another 4 laps.

With only 4 races to go Red Bull showed that they were still after all the spoils!! After a couple of not so great races they were back in form and took pole position and second on the grid.
There was drama from the start as Lucas di Grassi crashed out on the warm up lap. Vitaly Petrov spun into a wall just after the start and Felipe Massa ended up on the gravel after taking Nico Hulkenburg’s front wing off! The safety car came out and it was to be lap 6 before the race could start properly!

The only night race of the Grand Prix season took place in Singapore this weekend. Red Bull managed to get back on the front line but Sebastian Vettel could only manage 2nd. Mark Webber had to settle for 5th on the grid. Fernando Alonso took Pole and Lewis Hamilton was 3rd.
First drama was in the 3rd lap when the Force India-Mercedes of Vitantonio Liuzzi crashed into a wall on turn 10. Out came the safety car. Lap 4 saw Red Bull take a gamble with Mark Webber’s tyres and change them from soft to hard. By lap 7 Webber managed to get into 9th position but he had a lot of ground to cover if he was to get on the podium.

With 6 races left this season it was all to drive for at Monza. For the first time this year there was not a Red Bull on the front row of the grid. Mark Webber manged to get 4th but was up against it!
Jenson Button got off to a great start taking the lead off Fernando Alonso very early on. Tragically Lewis Hamilton collided with Filpe Massa and lost his front right wheel. Alonso wasn’t letting Button get too far in front of him.
Lap 21 saw Sebastian Vettel shouting about engine trouble and Webber overtook him to take seventh place. With all the attention given to Ferrari and their ‘team orders’ allegations, speculation was rife that he was just letting Webber past to give him a better chance of the title. There was quite a bit of corner cutting in this race and Jamie Rosso got a drive through penalty for doing so.

Once again Red Bull were in pole position for the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa-Francorchamps, this time Mark Webber getting the honours. There were a number of drivers (including Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg) way down the grid due to penalties for various previous misdemeanors including gear box and engine changes and dangerous driving.
There was drama in lap 1 when Fernando Alonso and Rubens Barichello collided. This signalled the end of the race for Barichello which was a shame as it was his 300th GP. Despite having pole position Webber was overtaken immediately by Lewis Hamilton who was 2nd on the grid.
In lap 11 there was more contact this time between the two Mercedes drivers Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg but nothing serious. However the collision in lap 16 was a bit worse with Sebastian Vettel ending Jensson Button’s race for which Vettel got yet another drive though penalty.

Yet again, the Red Bull cars of Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel took the first two spots on the starting grid. Lewis Hamilton started from third and Fernando Alonso was second.
Vettel got off to a good start, but Webber was overtaken early by Alonso. Hamilton lost third place toVitaly Petrov early on as well. Jenson Button started 11th but was back in 14th just after the start.
Vettel set a great pace and by lap 9 was 8 seconds ahead of Alonso. Lap 16 saw the emergence of the safety car and after that several things happened. A wheel flew off of Nico Rosberg’s car into the pit lane, but luckily no one was injured. Seconds later more drama in the pit lane when Robert Kubica and Adrian Sutil collided.
